Help us share the nation’s stories

The National Archives Trust is an independent charity and relies on philanthropic support to realise its mission to transform access to The National Archives’ unparalleled collection and bring history to life for people across the UK.

You can support the Trust as an individual, trust or foundation or company. With both regional and national ambitions across education, outreach and engagement activities, you could tailor your support to areas of the Trust’s work that mean the most to you. Your support could:

  • Enable schools to participate in inspiring learning experiences with original historical sources
  • Create world class exhibitions and displays for people to encounter the collection
  • Provide opportunities to collaborate with communities during creative and collection focused projects.

The National Archives Trust’s Foundational Supporters

The National Archives Trust is pleased to announce the establishment of the National Archives Trust’s Foundational Supporters, a group of some of our most generous funders who have each made exceptional inaugural gifts to help establish new programmes and initiatives which expand engagement with our nation’s archival heritage.

The Trust would like to thank the following Foundational Supporters for their generosity: Joanna & Graham Barker, the Bisset Trust, the Clore Duffield Foundation, the John S Cohen Foundation, GRoW @ Annenberg, Simon Lough and Marc and Rachel Polonsky.
