The Normal Theater is a fully restored Art Deco movie theater in Normal, IL. Built in 1937, it was a state-of-the-art cinema and has shown the latest in film entertainment for more than 50 years until the theater closed in May 1990. The Town of Normal purchased the theater in 1993 and restored it to its present fully operational condition. National Register of Historic Places #97000818.
