Pantages Theatre Minneapolis, Minnesota: Restoration: Stage right from the Balcony. The historic Pantages Theatre, originally built as a vaudeville house in 1916, was fully renovated with thoughtful and thorough restoration. The 1000-seat house is complete with ornate plaster, decorative painting, stained glass and an acoustic accelerator under the balcony. New stage lighting and rigging systems and a new orchestra pit.

The Florida Theatre opened in 1927 and was designed in the Mediterranean Revival style with accommodations for both live performances and motion pictures. In 2020 upgrades to the theatre included replacing all but two of the chairs, which were restored and reinstalled for Jay, the Theatre's resident ghost.

THE SAENGER THEATRE, New Orleans: what is called an atmospheric house. Many movie palaces were designed like this and in them the clouds moved across the sky and the stars twinkled. The pipes for the organ were (maybe still are) between the two columns on each side of the proscenium.
