The Lido Theater in Newport Beach is over 80 years old and harkens back to a different era in time. First opened in 1938, this pre-WWII movie theater features elegant lobby chandeliers, vintage poster cases, the original box office, art deco architectural details, a balcony, and a magnificent red velvet waterfall curtain on an elevated stage.

The John Golden Theatre was built in 1927 and named Theatre Masque until 1937 when John Golden purchased it and named it after himself. The Shubert Organization took control of the Spanish, Mission Revival style theatre in 1946. The theatre remains a Shubert-run venue today.

Pantages Theatre Minneapolis, Minnesota: Restoration: Stage right from the Balcony. The historic Pantages Theatre, originally built as a vaudeville house in 1916, was fully renovated with thoughtful and thorough restoration. The 1000-seat house is complete with ornate plaster, decorative painting, stained glass and an acoustic accelerator under the balcony. New stage lighting and rigging systems and a new orchestra pit.

Opened June 17, 1926, it was built for and operated by Balaban & Katz. The Norshore Theatre seated 3,017. The theatre was located in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. Its outer lobby featured huge crystal chandeliers and the ceiling was decorated with Pompeiian motifs. The theatre also contained fine French antiques. The Norshore Theatre was closed in 1957, and in 1960, this amazing theatre was reduced to rubble. A bank was later built in its place. Photo 1926.
