Whisky Advocate: Still Austin Unveils New Brand Home, Plans For Production Increase
July 29, 2026Texas distillery Still Austin is set to open a new music-themed visitor center, while mapping plans to dramatically scale up its production. Last year Still Austin sold over 50,000 cases, up 43% over 2024, according to Impact Databank.
The new Still Austin Quarter is a 15,000-square-foot center that will serve as the distillery’s visitor experience, alongside its existing whiskey garden patio and tasting room/retail shop. The building is divided into four spaces—the Music Room, the Vinyl Lounge, the Atrium, and a private event space—each with a unique concept. At full capacity, it will accommodate around 500 guests, including some 125 seats outside.
Meanwhile, in February, the distillery signed a partnership with construction logistics company Fero to fuel its growth. The deal, which covers $20 million in working capital (with Still Austin retaining total ownership), will see the distillery scale up its production. On that front, plans have been discussed for building a larger distillery that would increase Still Austin’s capacity nearly sevenfold. The place currently produces 8,500 barrels annually, and the new facility would boost that number to 58,500 barrels, with capacity for further expansion over time. Whisky Advocate has more.
