- After a childhood spent being fascinated with anything on four wheels, Mark turned his obsession into a profession and has spent the past three years covering the automotive industry for various outlets.
- Working remotely has led him to become an expert on travel-ready tech, with a keen eye for spotting the best value gadgets on the market.
- When he's not writing about cars, Mark can often be found taking photos of them at events across the UK and internationally. He's traveled extensively across Europe in search of the most obscure automobiles, from photographing Prince Rainier III's collection in Monaco to tracking down the rarest Soviet-era limousines in Latvia.
Experience
Mark began writing professionally in 2020, shortly after graduating university. He initially worked as a staff writer at HotCars as well as contributing articles to smaller outlets like Drivetribe. He joined SlashGear's team as a features writer in 2022.
Education
Mark has a B.A. in English language and linguistics from the University of Sheffield. Alongside his studies, he worked as both a presenter and producer for a local radio station, Forge Radio.
