Digital transformation is the process of integrating new technologies into businesses to automate tasks, implement new business practices, adapt to changing market conditions, and generate value more quickly. It applies modern software tools to solve business problems and improve customer satisfaction.

iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service) is a cloud-based solution that simplifies the integration of applications, data, and processes across different systems, whether in the cloud or on-premises.

smartWork is Tedial’s no-code iPaaS for media that plays a crucial role in digital transformation by modernizing traditional practices, streamlining workflows, and improving business efficiency in the Media & Entertainment (M&E) market.

Businesses demand full flexibility and customization options to continuously respond to rapidly changing needs. Incorporating a no-code development platform into their digital media infrastructure is often the best solution.

No-code technology provides a rapid development framework through a visual workflow designer, enabling M&E organizations to quickly address gaps in their technology stack or create entirely new products to meet end-user demands.

Tedial’s smartWork no-code platform features intuitive drag-and-drop interfaces that empower non-technical users to create and manage workflows. This reduces errors, enhances self-sufficiency, and minimizes reliance on external consultants.

With EVO MAM media organizations can design custom interfaces in minutes with the no-code UI designer, significantly improving the user experience.

AI capabilities such as automatic metadata generation, content analysis, and enrichment enhance media asset management by streamlining asset categorization, increasing automation, and improving operational efficiency. Moreover, semantic search uses AI to understand context and user intent, which significantly enhances content discovery withing large media archives and allows for natural language queries.

EVO MAM is an AI-powered, next generation media asset management system that streamlines collaborative content management. It features a powerful semantic search engine which, when  combined with classic search methods, offering an adaptable data model to meet evolving needs.

An artificial intelligence (AI) agent refers to a software system designed to autonomously performing specific tasks or make decisions on behalf of a user or another system. These agents operate by analysing their context, processing relevant data, and executing actions to achieve predefined goals with minimal human intervention.

smartWork AI agent functions as an integration gateway service that connects multiple AI applications. It standardizes and unifies diverse data models and orchestrates the functions generated by each application, enhancing interoperability across different AI systems.

Tedial is a global company with deep experience on media asset management (MAM) and intelligent automation, and a focus on smart scalable hybrid cloud media technology solutions. Its unique no-code approach enables customers to integrate their applications, automate their media supply chain and upgrade their business, enhancing self-sufficiency, collaboration and customer experience.

smartWork uses a common data model to standardize and streamline connections across systems, eliminating the complexity of point-to-point integrations. This unified approach ensures a seamless flow of data –both metadata and media files–  between applications, that communicate via the iPaaS, reducing maintenance efforts and supporting scalability.

With a growing portfolio of over 130 integrations, smartWork proves its ability to rapidly incorporate new systems and keep pace with evolving media workflows.

smartPacks are pre-configured solutions for specific media workflows, such as news, post-production, and content delivery. They enable rapid deployment and customization, helping media organizations streamline processes, reduce setup time, and accelerate time-to-value.

EVO MAM manages content ingestion, metadata management –including editorial, strata, collections and relationships–  and content delivery, while smartWork integrates these functions with external systems. Together, they provide an end-to-end solution for media workflows.

IMF is a standardized file-based framework (SMPTE 2067-2) designed to simplify media distribution. It enables the creation of a single master file, from which various versions can be generated efficiently, reducing complexity and ensuring consistency across different platforms. IMF is an evolution of the Digital Cinema Package (DCP), which has been the standard for theatrical content distribution since 2012.

smartWork and EVO MAM offer comprehensive native support for both IMF and DCP. This allows you to build original masters and their versions, create on-demand deliveries to any endpoint, and monitor delivery status through an intuitive business intelligence dashboard.

Partial restore enables selective retrieval of specific media segments from long-term archives. This significantly reduces tranfer time, storage requirements and avoids costly, full file transcoding.

Tedial’s smartWork Editing Services (TES) streamlines media cutting, stitching, and retrieval operations by intelligently indexing files during ingestion. This accelerates media workflows and reduces overall costs. TES supports partial restores for a wide range of formats, including 37 video and 12 audio formats and wrappers.

Tedial offers flexible hybrid deployments options to suit diverse organizational needs. Our solutions support public clouds –AWS and Google Cloud certified environments–, private clouds, and on-premises infrastructures. This flexibility allows organizations to balance performance, cost, and compliance needs.

Tedial implements rigorous security controls, holding ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO 27017 (Cloud Security), GDPR and ENS (Spanish National Security Scheme)  certifications. These accreditations ensure robust protection for your media as ful-file transcoding sets, extending beyond standard cloud vendor security, across both cloud and on-premises environments.
