Tito’s creates ‘furravorite’ cocktails for dog lovers
Texan brand Tito’s Handmade Vodka has created a list of 25 canine-inspired cocktails for International Dog Day (26 August).

The cocktail list is part of the brand’s ‘Vodka For Dog People’ initiative, launched because the distillery frequently adopted stray animals that wandered onto the property.
The recipes are all made with Tito’s batch-distilled, corn-based vodka. The brand said each cocktail is simple enough to make one-handed while the other hand holds a lead.
The Muttarita is the brand’s twist on the Margarita, which pairs Tito’s vodka with orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave nectar.
For those looking for their classic coffee cocktails, the Barkspresso Martini brings Tito’s to the centre of the popular serve.
Longer drinks include The Tail Chaser, which combines vodka with elderflower, lemon juice and sparkling wine, and The Daily Walk, which blends with tea and lemonade.
More adventurous cocktails include Tito’s Pony Punch, which mixes the corn vodka with orange liqueur, pomegranate juice, sparkling water, lemonade, orange juice, cinnamon, and frozen berries.
Tito’s was established in 1995 by Bert ‘Tito’ Beveridge, who was reportedly the first to obtain a legal permit for distilling in Texas.
The ‘Vodka For Dog People’ initiative has helped more than 170 distillery dogs and cats in more than 25 years.
In the past five years, the brand has also supported more than 2,500 animal well-being nonprofits. The brand donates 100% of the net proceeds from merchandise sales to nonprofits.
More information about the initiative can be found on the brand’s website.
Earlier this month, Tito’s partnered with Simmons Bars in London, England, to offer three signature fruity Collins cocktails.
Last month, the vodka brand celebrated National Martini Day at Simmons Piccadilly by offering complimentary Espresso Martinis during happy hour.
