About
Cherry Point Farm is one of the oldest operating farms in Oceana County, Michigan. The first orchards were planted in 1871. The Bull Family has been operating the farm since 1949 and have added a fruit market, bakery, gift shop and Lavender Labyrinth surrounding an herb garden. We offer fish boils, lumberjack breakfasts, high tea and more (reservations required for all). Open daily from April through October. Our Lavender Labyrinth and Herb Garden are free to walk during daylight hours when we are open.

Barbara Hull owns and operates this farm market filled with fresh fruit, freshly baked pastries and beautiful gifts and souvenirs. The gifts Barbara has chosen for her shop are quality items not the same junk you see at every souvenir shop. The clothing feels wonderful to touch and is of good quality. The shop is filled with trinkets and books which Barbara has written herself. Yes, she's also an author as well as a baker and a shopkeeper. Her baked goods are fresh and outstanding.
Be sure to stop if you drive by. I told Barb, hers was the nicest store we had visited on our trip.

The gardens were beautifully arranged and landscaped. Our young son loved the rock garden where words were painted on rocks for sentence-making fun! We enjoyed the cherry donuts and fresh fruits/veggies.

Cherry Point Farms is an example of “how it used to be”. Every little village up and down Lake Michigan had a stand like Cherry Point. The folks that ran them were friendly and always interested in what you had to say. Some of them were characters. You could visit for hours or 10 minutes. You were always welcome.

Relive the good old days and treat yourself to a visit to the Michigan I grew up with.

It's just the cutest little market with apples, jams/jelly, T shirts, baked goods including some frozen savory streudels (garden and asparagus). We met Barb Bull and she told us about the books she's written with all of them available at the store. I picked up her first, Cloud Cottage, as I love to read stories that include local areas.
This was the last weekend of the season...I will be back in spring/summer!

We actually made a trip up from Indiana to see the Lavender Labyrinth and, well, it wasn't even remotely flowering. The center to the display was pretty, but the field all the way around it was bare.

The little farmer's market was nice. We had a chocolate chip cookie and did buy turnovers, some fudge, and raspberry jam. Being a weekday, not a mush else was going on. It ended up being our shortest stop, even though it was the reason for the trip.

I assume it's much prettier during the correct time of the year.

We expected a much bigger operation. There were frozen items, baked goods and wine. There were tee shirts, sweatshirts, signs and soap. It was nice, but with all the various reviews we expected something larger than a garage. The blueberry struddel we purchased was good. Apparently they have not been able to get enough help so the cafe was not open.

This amazing shop and experience is a must do each time we visit the area. The Fish Boil is an absolute must and a phenomenal experience, let alone meal. Barbara Bull pours her heart and soul into the area, and it shows. Proud to always make sure my souvenirs come from this shop and that we visit daily for fresh produce and baked goods!

This is a great little stop to make along the scenic drive of B15 (Buchanan Rd). The shop has delicious cherry treats to offer (the cherry strudel is excellent/our recommendation!) as well as an assortment of gift items and apparel. There was fresh produce out front as well for sale. We walked around the garden a bit as well, which was lovely.
