Quinta Brunson Is Basically Flawless Going Makeup Free

Quinta Brunson has become quite the It Girl thanks to her stunningly fierce red carpet looks and hilarious timing on "Abbott Elementary," but did you know the actor and author is basically flawless when going makeup-free? In 2021, she shared the most fabulous before-and-after upload on Instagram, revealing a totally natural look before meeting with her glam team.

In the first shot, Brunson wears her hair in a protective turban and poses for a mirror selfie in a long, green coat, dark pants, and sneakers. She flaunts her glowing skin without any foundation or highlighter and doesn't show any signs of obvious texture, enlarged pores, skin redness, or darkness around her eyes. The Emmy winner also doesn't need heavy liner or dramatic, smokey shadow to define her beautiful, big eyes, as her bare lids still steal focus.

The following year, she got candid about how she keeps her skin looking so healthy. "I keep things pretty consistent. I love a face wash at night and I wash my face again in the morning, apply a serum, apply an eye cream, then apply a moisturizer. Lately, I've been using the Olay brightening line in the morning and that's pretty much what I go into the writers' room with," she told Coveteur. Looking so naturally gorgeous, we're not surprised she feels confident going to work with no or minimal makeup. "I feel super uncomfortable if I have to go to the writers' room with a full face of makeup on from set. I just feel like I'm sitting there looking ridiculous," she explained.

It's not just in the writer's room where Quinta Brunson feels comfortable without cosmetics. The beauty was proudly bare-faced in 2022 vacation photos she posted to Instagram as she soaked up the sun in Mexico. In one snap, the actor looks super relaxed as she poses with a glass in hand while wearing a white robe. The star has her hair in braids, which helps highlight her makeup-free beauty even more. She doesn't have any dark spots to banish as her smooth, blemish-free face shows an undeniable glow. Even without filling in her fluffy eyebrows with a pomade or carving them out with concealer, her brows' natural shape compliments her youthful, round face, and her lips are plump and hydrated without so much as a dab of lip gloss.

The comments section is full of praise, as Brunson's fans love seeing her look so happy. One fan tells her in the comments, "Absolutely gorgeous," with three heart-eye emojis as another shares, "We love a well-rested queen." And she certainly looks relaxed, as she doesn't have obvious dark circles under her eyes, nor is she experiencing summer acne.

When it comes to keeping her skin looking its best, Brunson admitted to Allure that simplicity is key. "I don't do too much because I try to keep it simple and this all works for me, so I've never had to really switch it up," she said. Clearly, her skincare routine ain't broke, so why fix it?
