<media:description>What I love about this room is that it’s layered and moody, but it never feels heavy.

The gallery wall carries the visual energy while everything below stays low, tonal, and restrained. Then the lighting pulls it all together.

That’s the difference between decoration and atmosphere.

<media:description>What if your home is costing you more than you realize?

Not financially.

Mentally.

Every unfinished room becomes another decision waiting for you. Another reminder that something still needs your attention.

Over time, those unfinished spaces create friction you carry every single day.

Great interior design isn’t about perfection.

It’s about creating a home that supports your life instead of competing for your energy.

Because when your environment works for you, you have more capacity for everything else that matters.

<media:description>About two and a half years ago, I spent a weekend in Santa Monica.

I remember standing on the beach thinking, this feels like home.

I didn’t have plans to move to California. I wasn’t looking for a fresh start.

But that feeling stayed with me.

Eventually, it became part of the reason I packed up my life, moved to Los Angeles, and started building Curated Style Collective.

That experience taught me something I still think about today:

Don’t ignore your environment.

The places that give you energy—and the places that quietly drain it—often tell you something long before your mind catches up.

As an interior designer, that’s why I believe our homes are about so much more than aesthetics. The right environment can change how you feel, how you create, and ultimately the life you build.

If you’ve ever visited a place that instantly felt like home, let me know in the comments.

Subscribe for more conversations about design, environment, and building an intentional life.

<media:description>Furniture stores have one goal: sell their products.

Interior designers have a different goal: create a home that reflects your life, your routines, and your future—not just a catalog.

That’s why retail styling and interior design are two very different services.

<media:description>Is the free design service at furniture stores actually interior design?

Not exactly.

There’s a big difference between helping you buy furniture and designing a home that supports how you live. Here’s what most people don’t realize.

<media:description>I had everything I thought I wanted… so why did it still feel like something was missing?

In this short, I open up about that strange feeling of emptiness even when life seems “perfect” on the outside. If you’ve ever questioned your happiness or felt like something just wasn’t right, you’re not alone.

Watch till the end and let me know—have you ever felt this way too?</media:description>
