I’m happy to announce that I won my re-election as an ADEM Delegate in the California Democratic Party in AD-18 (covering Alameda, Emeryville, and Oakland)! Thank you to all of you who supported me and voted for me! I can’t wait to represent all us in the CA Democratic Convention in May and to run for commitee appointments within the party.

While getting laid off from Google in the middle of this election was a huge blow, I’m heartened by the fact that our community seen I have something to bring to the table and showed up and turned out to elect me again to represent them. For that I will be forever grateful.

I commit to working hard within the party to represent our district and all Democrats for the next 2 years. I plan to make sure solving the housing crisis and protecting worker’s rights is still a priority in the California Democratic Party!

I’m also grateful to everyone that decided to stand up and throw their name in for this election. It’s never easy especially in AD-18 where we had one of the most competitive districts in the state. Top ten district for registrations and one the highest for in person voting.

Also a special thank you to my AD-18 Unity Slate members. We all ran amazing race together. We all refused to go negative despite attacks, and while not all of us did win, I’m still very proud of all us for not going low.

Finally I want to say congratulations to my 13 fellow winners elected in our district. Now is the time for all of as elected delegates in AD-18 to come together to represent our district to make sure the voices of our district are heard. — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/cMXbhOE
