I am trying to use the talkie library on Arduino Uno to output to a speaker. The talkie output is by default a PWM signal. I tested it with a piezo speaker and it works but it is weak. How can I amplify the signal? Which amplifier would work?

You have more options, here’s some:

An amp made from LM386, schematic is in its datasheet.

An amp made from couple of Bjt-s, you can find many examples on this site.

Ready PCB module from China, like D-class amp, LM386, etc..
