Could you maybe help me improve description of this building?

[edit]

Hi, I'm not an architect, and I don't really know how to properly describe their appearance/design. I wrote this building (Old Town Hall (Szczecin)) recently, but I think I did a really bad job describing it in the "Architecture" section. I'm sure there are people with better knowledge and vocabulary, who could made this article so much better. Thank you in advance :) Artemis Andromeda (talk) 01:52, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

New WikiProject.

[edit]

Hello!

I propose a WikiProject with the working title of Art & Architecture Copyedits.

The proposed WikiProject has two main goals:

  1. To copyedit any articles related to Art & Architecture that have the copyedit or clarify tag, and
  2. To create a supportive, welcoming space for newcomers. Experienced editors are also very appreciated, especially for the proposal process, but the WikiProject, once created, will mainly be recruiting newcomers.

If you would like to join, please do comment below, and I'll ping you during the proposal to confirm your intent. I will be posting this message on all related WikiProjects. All experience levels appreciated! 22ManzanaBoy (talk) 12:49, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Expert needed for Building-integrated fog collectors

[edit]

The page Building-integrated fog collectors has been recently created as part of a class project. It needs review by experts in the area, as there is a lot of information being added whose accuracy needs verification as important. Ldm1954 (talk) 14:10, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'll look it over. At first glance it's an excessively technical discussion in academic journal style rather than encyclopedia style for something that barely exists yet. It will need some copyediting, linking, and cutting down. Acroterion (talk) 14:20, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Louis Abramson

[edit]

I've nominated Louis Abramson for FA. From the article, Louis Allen Abramson (August 1, 1887 โ€“ January 15, 1985) was an American architect who practiced mostly in New York City, specializing in hospitals, nursing homes, and restaurants. Any comments at the nomination page would be appreciated. RoySmith (talk) 19:22, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
