Please note the end-of-year holiday period that ends January 10th. It would therefore more likely be “middle of January” at the earliest.

As for the RFC itself, I'm intentionally abstaining from having an opinion (and will also Abstain in the vote itself), as this is a legal matter not a technical matter with the latter being where my main expertise lies :-)

Sorry for not being specific. I tend to think of January 10 as part of "early January." I'll open voting at some point _after_ January 10.
