The 486 is my favourite PC architecture! It was in the first family computer I ever used, and I'm still learning things about it.

The MV4-V4S471/472P is my most capable 486 board. It comes later through the life of the architecture, with dual-voltage CPU support and those amazing Frankenstein VESA Local Bus slots. I bought the board as non-functional; fortunately the typical Varta battery damage was limited and only cosmetic. It's otherwise in near immaculate condition, as though it was never used.

I use it with my UMC GREEN-40 CPU, as its the only i486 board I own with it referenced in its user manual. Setting jumpers on i486 boards are always fun, let alone when you're trying to approximate what a CPU is.
