Update September 2021:

I'll try to break it up as much as possible, but there are plenty of things to be done.

  • As per the documentation, when working with Flutter Web and Firebase, you need to add your Firebase dependencies in your index.html, like this:

Use the dependencies that you want, but if you aren't using analytics, leave it out. You have to import this first thing though firebasejs/8.6.1/firebase-app.js

<head>

//This is important for google auth on web. You can get it from Firebase=>Auth=>sign in methods=>Google.
 <meta name="google-signin-client_id"
    content="***********-*************.apps.googleusercontent.com">

</head>

<body>
    <script src="https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/8.6.1/firebase-app.js"></script>
    <script src="https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/8.6.1/firebase-firestore.js"></script>
    <script src="https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/8.6.1/firebase-auth.js"></script>
    <script src="https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/8.6.1/firebase-storage.js"></script>
    <script src="https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/8.6.1/firebase-messaging.js"></script>
    <script src="https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/8.6.1/firebase-analytics.js"></script>

 <script>
    // Your web app's Firebase configuration
    // For Firebase JS SDK v7.20.0 and later, measurementId is optional
    var firebaseConfig = {
      apiKey: "***",
      authDomain: "***",
      projectId: "***",
      storageBucket: "***",
      messagingSenderId: "***",
      appId: "***",
      measurementId: "***"
    };
    // Initialize Firebase
    firebase.initializeApp(firebaseConfig);
    firebase.analytics();
  </script>
  • If you are going to attempt to Authenticate using Google, you will also have to add your google-Oath token in this file.

Try to build it now and check this out and report back please.

This is also including adding the dependancies in your pubspec.yaml file.

    For anyone running into issues here, you need to make sure to use the 8.6.1 version, not the latest 9.0.2 version ! Commented Sep 16, 2021 at 23:15

Cannot read property 'app' of undefined at ServerResponse.render...

A spelling error in the callback function parameters can cause a similar error as above (eg function(request, reponse))
