I am encountering 'Error 00211: Cannot Create Route Event Source' with the 'Make Route Event Layer' process in ArcGIS Pro ModelBuilder which I am unable to solve. I'm working with a very large dataset and have encountered this error message in other models using the same dataset.

I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.3.0 on Windows 11 Educational OS 22631.4602.

I have tried all suggestions I was able to find online:

  • re-install
  • checked for any field alias's having duplicate values, apostrophes, or spaces
  • regenerating event attributes with 'Make Query Table' before inputting into the 'Make Route Event Layer' process
