For some reason, certain events that are normally visible in Firebase Analytics cannot be found in our BigQuery database. Specifically, this concerns the screen_view and user_engagement events. These two events are clearly visible in Firebase Analytics but are missing from the recent tables in BigQuery.

Here are some facts:

  • The integration was enabled on March 3, 2023.
  • Some events can be found in the database:
    • screen_view events are available between 27/02/2023 and 03/03/2023.
    • user_engagement events are available between 27/02/2023 and 21/01/2024.
  • screen_view events are manually sent by both the iOS and Android apps.
  • There were no changes at the time when both events stopped being sent to BigQuery.

I have checked practically everything I could, and I still cannot identify the reason why these events are no longer being sent to the database. Has anyone encountered a similar problem before?
