I am unable to visualise how variational autoencoders work graphically. I have understood the equations but am unable to figure out how this would all translate visually, like what is the purpose of P(z) (=> the latent space distribution) and what it would do intuitively, etc. I have tried going through different yt channels but they were of no use. I just want to think about it visually rather than mathematically.
So, please help me out by answering how do you think about VAE visually/ intuitively ?
