Shaun Isherwood

My MMath degree is from The University of York (2016). There, I focused on the algebra and analysis streams. My dissertation was on inverse semigroups and inductive groupoids.

I did a short internship in research at The University of York (2014), specialising in counting configurations of idempotents in certain D-classes of 4-by-4 and 6-by-6 matrices over the field of two elements, under the guidance of Dr. Miklos Hartmann and Prof. Victoria Gould.

I was a postgraduate research student at University of Essex and I started in October, 2017. My supervisor was Prof. Gerald Williams. I worked in the field of combinatorial group theory, viz., cyclically presented groups. I left with an MPhil.

I am a postgraduate research student at the University of Aberdeen. My supervisor is Prof. Benjamin Martin.
