Jamie Reeves shared thisJamie Reeves shared thisRedefining Flavor: Red Robin's Next Chapter 🍔 Red Robin's journey, from its 1940s college scene beginnings in Seattle to its current place in the culinary industry, is a remarkable story. The shift from a modest tavern to a distinguished gourmet destination has captivated burger enthusiasts across North America. Willow Spring Construction collaborated with Red Robin and the Parallel Group to create a fresh perspective on their restaurant design. The resulting space combines nostalgia and modern elements, showcasing the dedication to excellence from both teams. Congratulations to Red Robin on their revamped space at Willowbrook Shopping Centre! Jamie Reeves shared thisJamie Reeves shared thisWhen we assume responsibility for others and take them into our charge, our lives become an open book, our behaviors a model for people to criticize, and our words an ongoing test to determine if we're telling the truth. This is the path of leadership; leading others is hard work and will always be challenging, not for the faint of heart. There's no shortage of scrutiny for stepping up and wanting to make a difference in the lives of others. It comes with the territory, and we do it at our peril. Criticism comes with it, as leaders are easy targets for drama, politics, and gossip. Still, leaders have and carry much influence. This allows them to make a difference regardless of how excellent or poor their organization is performing. People naturally look up to those who demonstrate competency and caring, especially during difficult times. Leaders can get their team members to collaborate, have meaningful discussions, and work with them to write effective goals that can fundamentally improve the organization. They can champion efforts like this without ever being told to do so. Leaders can cause our performance to be better and positively impact culture through what they do daily. People on a team want to work with leaders who will make them better, and this can be done with or without the organization's support. It's a leader's call. Rosalynn Carter, the former first lady and spouse of President Jimmy Carter, may have said it best, "A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go but ought to be." They see things in their team members that others don't. Incredibly successful leaders believe in themselves and the teams within their charge. They take a different road, a different approach; * They are not self-serving, * The path they take is not easy, full of multiple highs and lows, * They do things most aren't willing to do, * They believe in and work hard at execution, * They are willing to persevere until they achieve their goals and the company's objectives. If you don't think this can be you. You need to think again. "Leadership is not about you; it's about inspiring, empowering, and serving to elevate others." (John Eades, Building the Best, 2019) Take yourself out of the equation. You can do this. Jamie Reeves shared thisJamie Reeves shared thisIn early 2021, Nando’s set out to double-down on its commitment to sustainability and the climate crisis. It was proud to have first European hospitality company to set a science-based target back in 2019, committing to a 50% carb reduction per meal, but knew this wasn’t enough, so it increased its ambition to become a net zero carbon business by 2030. It took immediate action through the use of verifiable carbon offset programme, achieving carbon neutral status for all its meals, sauce bottles and deliveries by November last year. On March 23rd of 2022 Nando’s won the most Sustainable Brand at the MCA Awards. I photographed the new Nando’s restaurant in Wigan as designed by MorenoMasey at the end of last year. The restaurant is wrapped with Nando's UK & IRE signage, including a heart which illuminates using 100% renewable electricity. Inside is a feast for the eyes. From splashes of colour with the tiling and art to the circular booths with built in overhead lighting, the interior is full of features. Black metal screens are used to divide the restaurant up along with the mixed seating options that are available. I would never call the restaurant green … more a palette of fiery Nando's South Africa colours. #sustainability #sustainablearchitecture #restaurantdesign #restaurant #photography #photographer #interiorphotography #interiordesign #lighting #light #renewablenergy #food #drink #carbonneutral

Jamie Reeves reacted on thisIncredibly honored to be ranked #146 in Franchise Times' Restaurant 200 list 🏆Jamie Reeves reacted on thisProud moment for the LVRB team. 🏆 Franchise Times just released its 2026 Restaurant 200 list, and Lehigh Valley Restaurant Brands moved up to #146 — our third consecutive year of climbing this ranking (170 in 2024, 161 in 2025). This isn't the result of a single decision or deal. It's the compounding effort of everyone who's grown with us — from our roots as a Red Robin franchisee, through our expansion into Texas, to welcoming Wingstop into our portfolio. Every location, every shift, every team member behind the counter and in the office had a hand in this. Rankings like this are really a reflection of the people who show up every day to take care of guests and each other. Grateful for this team and excited for what's next. Jamie Reeves reacted on thisGreat business. Great brand. Great people. All around.Jamie Reeves reacted on this“If you’re still building schedules without Ando, you’re flying blind.” That’s what David Greengold, CFO at Juan's Flying Burrito, CFO told me after seeing Ando in action. Most restaurant technology asks operators to be patient. You implement the system, wait months for it to learn your business, spend time tuning it, and hope the results eventually show up. Juan's Flying Burrito proved that doesn't have to be the case. A five-location operation, with four restaurants in New Orleans, Juan's operates in one of the most volatile demand environments in the country. Mardi Gras, holidays, festivals, and event traffic can completely reshape customer patterns from one week to the next. Their previous scheduling tool was doing what many systems do: repeating historical habits. Shifts were grouped into mornings and nights because that's where they had always been, not because demand called for it. Managers were largely copying schedules forward, making adjustments around the edges. Results: - Live deployment across five locations in 4 weeks - ~90% daily forecast accuracy - ~95% weekly forecast accuracy - Performance maintained through Mardi Gras demand volatility - Employee adoption with virtually no training required Most importantly, Juan’s could begin turning real demand patterns into smarter staffing decisions immediately. The Juan’s team told us that what they had spent years trying to build showed up in the first week. That is the advantage of highly accurate AI-generated forecasts. The patterns already exist inside the business. Ando finds them, understands them, and turns them into labor decisions quickly enough to matter.

I have spent my career helping some of Canada’s most recognized restaurant brands grow, adapt, and thrive. Along the way I have turned struggling concepts into profitable businesses, guided legacy chains through transformation, and led teams responsible for more than half a billion dollars in annual revenue. My work has included everything from revitalizing menus and guest experiences to driving packaging innovation that earned global recognition.

What matters most to me is how those results are achieved. I believe leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room but about creating clarity, trust, and momentum for the people who make a brand come to life. By listening first and making decisions with intention, I have helped franchise networks prosper, supported operators through change, and built value that lasts.

Today I share what I have learned with my teams and support teams to help them grow stronger, lead with confidence, and succeed without losing sight of their people and their values.
