Jessica Stevenson shared thisReflecting on the last month which has been full of big news - and feeling grateful. Our beautiful daughter Elena was born, and Everist was named amongst the top 10 fastest growing companies in Canada by The Globe and Mail (our other baby :). Jayme Jenkins and I were also honored as a finalist for RBC Women of Influence Entrepreneur Awards - and await the results mid-November. Thank you everyone who has made this possible and helped along the way - it takes a village! xxJessica Stevenson shared thisBig news for the Everist team! ✨ The Globe and Mail released its 2025 list of Canada’s Top Growing Companies, and Everist ranked in the Top 10 overall — and #1 among consumer brands! https://lnkd.in/gB5HiVNV It’s been a year defined by resilience — for founders, for small businesses, and for our community. Growth is exciting, but what really fuels it is people: our incredible team, partners, customers, and the Everist community who keep showing up for a better future in beauty. Couldn’t be prouder of what we’re building — and of the people behind it. 💚

Jessica Stevenson reposted thisJessica Stevenson reposted thisEarlier this week, I had the pleasure of hosting a very special evening in Toronto to celebrate the success of several Canadian beauty brands that are sprouting, growing and scaling beyond our own borders. There is something truly remarkable about consumer founders that are capable of building iconic global brands from an initial home base in Canada, and beauty is no exception - I think of MAC Cosmetics, DECIEM | THE ABNORMAL BEAUTY COMPANY and ILIA Beauty to name just a few of my favourite beauty brands that have catapulted to great international success, and have achieved exits to strategics ... and, had beginnings in Canada. A new crop of Canadian beauty brands have emerged over the last decade and are poised to follow suit, and I was delighted so many could join for what I am calling the first annual CANADIAN BEAUTY PROM :) Thank you so much to the Canadian beauty and wellness founders that came together (with just a few weeks notice!) - I was beyond thrilled to see you all in one room, celebrating each other ... and in many cases just meeting each other for the first time. A big special thanks to Rosie Pouzar, SVP Retail at Sephora Canada for joining in the celebration (and Jane Nugent for connecting us!), as well as Carlene Higgins and Jill Dunn - two of my favourite beauty enthusiasts and podcast hosts of Breaking Beauty! And Melissa French Nilsson, you're one of the best advisors in beauty out there (and an angel investor with great taste!), it was such an honour to have you join us at this table :) Kevin Murphy, Andrea Drager, Kathryn From, Alexandra B., Jen Lee Koss - I hope to continue collaborating, sharing notes and finding more to invest in together too! And finally, this evening was made possible because of three generous co-sponsors - BraunHagey & Borden LLP - Dan Harris and Zainab Abdullah, BDC Thrive Venture Fund - Mona Minhas and Michelle Scarborough and Moselle - Lakhveer Singh Jajj - thank you so much for your support of this ecosystem and being a part of this inaugural event.

Jessica Stevenson shared thisWhen Jayme Jenkins and I set out on this journey together, we knew we wanted to do something different and have a positive impact - but we could have never imagined just how game-changing it could be. Our biggest lesson was listening to our community (now 35k strong!) and solving their problems (dry scalp & hair, we got you) and in doing so also helping solve world problems we care about. Thank you again to our amazing team, investors and Everist community, and to Rachel Brown and Beauty Independent once more for telling our story.Jessica Stevenson shared thisCreating something truly novel is hard so for many reasons, and a core part of it is creating messaging that is intuitive and easy to understand. Thank you Rachel Brown and Beauty Independent for sharing how this messaging shift has unlocked a new growth trajectory for us (we just had our first $45k day on DTC and are up almost 9x YTD 😮) and to our amazing Everist team (Nikita Kataria, Kristina Zabelin, Tamara Nurse, Laura Artin (Rizkalla), Allison Wang) and group of strategic investors (Kathryn From, Irene de Gooyer-Collins, CPA, CMA, Jonathan Shui, CFA, Manica Blain, Joanna Griffiths) for whiteknuckling through all the twists and turns (reformulations, moving our entire supply chain, packaging optimizations) that got us here. Solving a 'world problem' will always be why we do what we do, but our 'haircare meets skincare' story is just starting and something that's uniquely Everist. ✨ 💙 Jessica StevensonEverist's Marketing Shift To Product Performance Over Sustainability Supercharges SalesEverist's Marketing Shift To Product Performance Over Sustainability Supercharges Sales

Jessica Stevenson liked thisJessica Stevenson liked thisI'm proud to share that Guests on Earth has been named one of Canada's Top Growing Companies of 2026 by The Globe and Mail's Report on Business magazine, ranking No. 17 with 2,192% three-year revenue growth. When we started Guests on Earth, the goal was simple: prove that home care products could be better for the planet without asking people to compromise on performance. We wanted to make cleaning and laundry more joyful and less wasteful, borrowing from beauty, personal care and wellness to bring superior design and experience to this category. Seeing that mission turn into real growth, from our DTC sales, retail expansion and Amazon, has been incredibly rewarding. Massive thanks to: → Our team, who bring relentless care and creativity to everything we make Sarah Spear Melissa Batchelor, MBA Lindsey Simpson Shelby Nicholson Holly Wiancko Cydney Laughton-Eagan Omar Morson → Our customers, who choose to do things a little differently every day → Our retail partners, who believed in us early and onward → Our investors, advisors and supporters, who have backed this vision MORE. TO. COME!!! [the full article will be available in Report on Business Magazine in The Globe and Mail this weekend] https://lnkd.in/gZUZ5rcY

Jessica Stevenson liked thisJessica Stevenson liked thisOver the summer, I've had the incredible opportunity to work as an Operations Intern at Everist. Being part of a Canadian, women-led company that's redefining the beauty industry through waterless hair and body concentrates has truly been an amazing experience. A huge thank you to Vicky Deng and Laura Artin (Rizkalla) for your mentorship, guidance, and constant support throughout my internship. I'm so grateful for everything you've taught me and for trusting me with meaningful work that challenged me to grow. I'd also like to thank Good & Well Inc., and Sandrine K. Boisvert Desforges, for creating such a unique internship experience. Through workshops and programming focused on personal development, networking, self-reflection, and bringing more humanity into the workplace, you've given me lessons that I'll carry with me throughout my career!✨ Photo by Caio Santos

Jessica Stevenson liked thisJessica Stevenson liked thisTen years ago today, I walked into Sephora as head of Merchandising — and what a decade it’s been. I’m endlessly grateful for everything we’ve built together, including watching us become the market leader in Canada during this stretch. That kind of growth doesn’t happen alone — it’s been the work of extraordinary colleagues, my amazing team, and Brand Partners who trusted us to bring their vision to our stores and to millions of customers. Ten years in, I’m as excited as ever about where beauty is headed. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. Here’s to what’s next. 💫

Jessica Stevenson liked thisJessica Stevenson liked thisSo many feelings - but above all gratitude. After 14 years of building something I love, it's time for me to spend more time with the people I love most. As one incredible chapter ends, a new one begins 🌍 Congratulations Nicole Tapscott on your new role as Brand President of Knix. There is no better person to pass the torch to and lead Knix into the next chapter. I love our incredible team and will be cheering you on from the sidelines. Thank you to the Essity team for your belief in me, Knix and our team. I am incredibly grateful for your partnership and stewardship over the past four years. It's hard to put 14 years into words, but here is a little bit about how I got here, and where I'm going next. It's been quite the journey and I'm grateful for all of it.

Jessica Stevenson liked thisJessica Stevenson liked thisStill taking it all in after an unforgettable week at Ulta FLC 2026. The anticipation leading up to the event was real - but the energy, connection and engagement once we arrived exceeded every expectation. Spending time with the Ulta Beauty team and connecting with consumers at Beauty World is something I will carry with me for a long time. I listened, I learned and I’m leaving inspired to keep growing. What stood out to me was the way the beauty community showed up for one another. Brands supporting brands, people checking in and genuine moments of care when it mattered most - it was powerfull to witness. Grateful for the incredible Revlon team I get to work with every day. This week wouldn’t have been possible without you all showing up in the ways that mattered most. #UltaFLC #UltaBeautyWorld #JuicyCouture #BeautyCommunity #Gratitude #Growth

Jessica Stevenson liked thisJessica Stevenson liked thisTonight was a really special one, as I was recognized as Marketer of the Year by the Strategy Magazine Being recongnuzed along side the amazingly accomplished and incredible leaders Catherine Laporte , Maja Neable , Mary MacIsaac, Laura Curtis Ferrera, CM , and Laura Cutsey was an true pinch me moment. They are each unbelievable forces in marketing. The whole thing really made me reflect a bit. I grew up in a home where curiosity was expected, where conversations at the dinner table turned into debates, and not knowing something just meant it was time to go figure it out (usually via Encyclopedia Britannica) That foundation has shaped how I show up in this industry: Stay curious. Listen closely to customers, to teams, to the next generation. Be ambitious and aim to build something that actually matters. And above all, have integrity and do what you say you’ll do, and do it well. I am so thankful to my parents Don Tapscott and Ana Lopes for these lessons. When reflect on my career I can’t believe I’ve had the chance to work for and along side 5 incredible founders. These individuals built something from nothing, and turned something into a movement. Recently I’ve been so fortunate to work for Joanna at Knix. She pushes us to to see that brands shouldn’t just react to culture, but they can actually shape it. Her vision is on everything we do at Knix. I am so proud to work with the team of people who bring this to life every day. You make the work better, and a lot more fun. And to my family, James Leo , Victoria, and Teddy, you are everything. https://lnkd.in/eVG7y6ew

Jessica Stevenson liked thisJessica Stevenson liked thisI had such a great time in London with Beauty Independent at their Dealmaker event- Huge thank you to the BI team for bringing the industry together for another insightful and energizing event. I loved sharing the stage with these incredible women Julie Paravia , Anna Teal , and Isabel Malbois. Our conversation on what it really takes for brands to break into the US market was honest, tactical, and full of hard earned lessons. A few themes echoed across the conference: retail is evolving fast, Amazon continues to matter more than ever, prestige hair and fragrance are still on a strong climb, and we all seem to be thinking about the same question: what happens next with the crowded makeup landscape. Grateful to have been part of such a thoughtful room! Thank you also to my #1 cheerleader and content capturer Cristina Nuñez , Rich Gersten we missed you! President's Choice takes experiential marketing on the road with PC Kitchen Drop 🚐👨🍳 Loblaw's PC brand is rolling out an innovative holiday campaign that puts their Test Kitchen concept on wheels in Toronto and Montreal. The strategy here is smart on multiple levels: ✅ Solves real pain points – Takes the stress out of holiday hosting by bringing a professional chef and full kitchen directly to consumers' homes ✅ Builds on momentum – Extends their successful Bookable Backyards summer campaign, creating a year-round experiential series ✅ Product showcase in action – Features recipes from the PC Holiday Insiders Report, letting people experience the products prepared by pros ✅ Smart access model – Free bookings (first-come, first-served) remove cost barriers while creating urgency ✅ Generates organic buzz – A glass-encased mobile kitchen cooking family-style meals for up to 12 guests? That's highly shareable content. As Lindsay Cook, VP of control brand, loyalty and Joe Fresh marketing notes: "Kitchen Drop really captures what the PC Holiday Insiders Report has always been about—taking the stress out of hosting and elevating every meal into something remarkable." This is a great example of how CPG brands can create memorable touchpoints beyond the shelf. Bookings open Nov. 25 for December dates. What experiential campaigns have caught your attention lately? #ExperientialMarketing #RetailInnovation #CPG #BrandStrategy #PresidentsChoice
