He has built and commercialized technologies spanning AI diagnostics, clinical decision support, predictive analytics, LiDAR-based digital twins, blockchain financial infrastructure, advanced imaging, intelligent sensing, and electromagnetic energy harvesting.<br>Stephen conducts third-party due diligence on AI technologies for law firms and enterprises involved in mergers, acquisitions, investment decisions, and strategic technology assessments. His expertise combines deep technical evaluation with executive judgment on defensibility, scalability, intellectual property, product-market fit, and commercialization risk.<br>Earlier in his career, Stephen worked on advanced avionics systems for U.S. defense programs, including controls, displays, imaging, real-time visualization, and multi-sensor fusion. This foundation in mission-critical systems shaped his approach to building technologies where accuracy, reliability, and execution matter.<br>Stephen has served on corporate and charitable boards for more than two decades and has been an active contributor to the Waterloo Region technology ecosystem. He also advises innovation organizations, supporting the commercialization of Canadian intellectual property and the development of high-growth technology ventures.<br>Today, Stephen leads and advises companies developing AI, imaging, digital twin, electromagnetic sensing, and energy harvesting technologies, with a focus on building category-defining platforms that create lasting strategic and economic value.
