So, I have a public profile for searching our membership which works and set for Public Pages and Listings. What does not work is when I submit the Image URL for Contacts it literally only publishes the URL. There is no alternative. We use this to put company logos on the files. This is the short code not sure if it matters: [civicrm component="profile" gid="20" mode="search" hijack="0"]

The civicrm profile search tool is a really old feature of CiviCRM and probably not what you want. Try looking at searchkit, it'll likely work much better.

  • Pretty cool. Yeah, so a quick question about this and then I will ask the rest of them on a new thread as they deal with the style, etc. of SearchKit. So, we tied the gid to a file like such: site/pagename/?civiwp=CiviCRM&q=civicrm%2Fprofile%2Fview&reset=1&id=xxxx&gid=xx That gave us a url specific for creating NFC card links. Is it replicable in SearchKit? Commented Nov 12 at 2:50

Yes - there are some searchkit+form conventions to get used to, one of them is the separation of: 1. The search - think of it as the underlying sql built using a nice interface 2. The display - how the results are exposed (e.g. transformations, ordering of results, ordering of columns, etc.). 3. The "form" - most unintuitively, any fancy exposure of the results needs you to use the formbuilder (which has to be enabled in the extensions). Once you get used it it, it's very intuitive. • Marked solved because it is the true forward progression solution. And thanks for the other answer as well! ;) Commented Nov 13 at 0:28
