My Path
Free Online Learning Courses
Visit My Path where we focus on helping people develop skills and knowledge to support their own mental health or their loved one’s recovery. My Path is for anyone: youth, older adults, family, friends, and parents. You are not required to have a referral, diagnosis, previous experience or be a CMHA WW client to participate. All are welcome! These resources are created to empower you on your journey toward mental well-being! Our offerings are crafted by those with lived experiences or by a trained mental health professional, blending personal wisdom with practical knowledge to help you build inner strength and promote self-care.

Community Presentation and Wellness/Information Fairs
Our team of highly trained mental health educators share knowledge, skills and practical tools to support your mental health and allow you to support those around you. We offer our training sessions free of charge to local, volunteer-led community groups and grassroots organizations, including support groups, service clubs, volunteer organizations, seniors’ groups, faith communities, recreational clubs, and community associations.

Certificate Courses
Our certificate courses offer in-depth training developed by expert partners, including Living Works, CMHA National, and the Mental Health Commission of Canada, designed to equip individuals from various backgrounds with the skills and knowledge to address mental health crises and suicide intervention.
Whether you’re a service provider, teacher, youth worker, emergency responder, supervisor, co-worker, or community member, these courses provide essential tools to support those in need. Each course is tailored with specific age and attendance requirements, ensuring that participants can gain the skills necessary to help their communities, workplaces, and loved ones.
These courses not only enhance participants’ ability to identify and assist individuals at risk, but also build a broader understanding of mental health, well-being, and suicide prevention strategies.

Workplace Well-Being Services
CMHA Waterloo Wellington knows that workplace wellbeing contributes to the overall wellbeing of the community in several interconnected ways. When organizations invest in the mental, emotional, and physical health of their employees, the positive effects often extend beyond the workplace and into the broader community.
Our workplace services are custom designed sessions for professionals in their workplace. A variety of learning opportunities are available including targeted training for all employees, for segmented groups of employees, and leadership teams.
