NOTE FOR ANY LAST MINUTE REGISTRATIONS: Please be aware that Keg King and KegLand are both closed on the Grand Final Friday holiday and on Saturday as well. If you already have a order pending with KegLand you can use their locker system for drop offs (see https://youtu.be/hSvYcx7pSjA for details). Otherwise the other option is Backyard Home Brew who are open this weekend.
All entries will be judged according to the 2021 BJCP Style Guidelines by a panel of judges and grouped into the following categories:

4A Munich Helles / 4B Festbier / 5C Helles Exportbier / 5D German Pils
AMBER & DARK LAGER
6A Marzen / 6B Rauchbier / 7A Vienna Lager / 8A Munich Dunkel / 8B Schwarzbier
BOCK
4C Helles Bock / 6C Dunkels Bock / 9A Doppelbock / 9B Eisbock
ALES
5B Kolsch / 7B Altbier / 23A Berliner Weisse / 23G Gose
WHEAT BEER
10A Weissbier / 10B Dunkles Weissbier / 10C Weizenbock
Judges decision is final. Champion Beer of Show, Best Novice, and 1st, 2nd & 3rd place getters in each category will be based on the highest sum total points from the three judges. In the event of a tie, the award will be decided on the basis of best impression. Best Novice category is only open for Victorian brewers who have not previously placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a Vicbrew sanctioned competition. Champion Brewer will be awarded to the highest sum total for points awarded in each category: 1st Placing: 3 points, 2nd Placing: 2 points, 3rd Placing: 1 point.
Results for Oktoberfest 2026 will be announced by 5pm Sunday 4th October via social media (to be advised).
Scoring sheets will be available for download via this website after the results are announced. Winners of prizes will be contacted and those prizes to be collected by mutual agreement.

Awards
The awards ceremony will take place once judging is completed and results tabulated.
Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. Additional places will be awarded for Champion Brewer, Beer of Show, Club of Show and Best Novice.
Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of the competition organizers.
Score sheets and awards will be available for pick up that night after the ceremony concludes. Awards not picked up on the day will be sent to prize recipients via regular post. Score sheets will be scanned in to the comp site and will be available for download by participants. Results will be posted to the competition web site after the ceremony concludes.
