When a medical device moves from prototype to global commercialization, the value of an established platform often becomes much clearer. With the LBR Med, MedTech companies are not starting with a new technology looking for its first applications. They are building on a robotic platform that has accumulated years of experience in real medical environments and is backed by a global organization. Technical specifications remain important. But as products mature and deployments grow, factors such as long-term availability, field-proven performance, worldwide support, and the ability to scale internationally become just as critical. Medical device manufacturers make decisions that need to hold up not only during development, but throughout the entire lifecycle of their products. This is where experience matters. For more than 25 years, KUKA has been supporting customers in the medical technology sector. That experience, combined with global service capabilities and long-term partnership, helps MedTech innovators focus on what matters most: bringing reliable medical solutions to market and scaling them with confidence. We are very proud of that! #KUKA #MedTech #MedicalRobotics #RoboticPlatform

What if you could optimize your welding process before production even begins? That's exactly what a Digital Twin makes possible. By creating a virtual representation of a #RoboticWelding cell, manufacturers can simulate, validate and optimize processes before implementation, helping accelerate deployment and make #WeldingAutomation projects more predictable. HASE adopted this approach to build a flexible, future-ready welding solution capable of supporting future products without disrupting production. Because successful automation doesn't start with the first weld. It starts with the right planning. 👉 Learn how Digital Twin technology is transforming manufacturing: https://lnkd.in/e9C-ZnUV #DigitalTwin #WeldingAutomation #IndustrialAutomation #MetalIndustry

Looks familiar... 👀 Inspired by our KR AGILUS, this robotic arm was designed and built from scratch - from CAD and 3D printing to kinematics and a custom control interface. Impressive work! Mateo Cabay keep us posted on what comes next!
From Sketch to Robotic Arm – Building the Entire System from Scratch ⚙️🤖 I developed this 5DOF robotic arm inspired by the KUKA KR 4 AGILUS as a compact mechatronic prototype. One of the main challenges was integrating all the actuators within the robot structure, requiring multiple design iterations to achieve a clean and compact architecture. The final link also features a standardized mounting interface for easy integration of different end-effectors. ✅ CAD design, 3D printing, and mechanical assembly ✅ High-torque servo-driven joints ✅ Forward and inverse kinematics for motion control ✅ Custom GUI development for real-time robot visualization and control This project brings together three key areas of robotic system development: mechanical design, electronics, and programming. Integrating these areas is what transforms a mechanical concept into a functional robotic system. 🛠️ The next step will be the development of a custom PCB and dedicated robot controller. I’ll continue sharing updates as the project evolves. Stay tuned! #Engineering #Robotics #Mechatronics #3DPrinting #RoboticArm

Why do packaging automation projects fail before they deliver real value? Often, it’s not the technology itself. Problems start much earlier: with the wrong process, unrealistic expectations or too much complexity from day one. Our carousel looks at five common reasons why packaging automation projects struggle – and what to consider before getting started. The key takeaway? You don’t need to automate everything at once. A clearly defined first application can be the better way to learn, prove value and build from there. Wondering where automation makes sense in your packaging process? Take our Automation Readiness Test and get an initial recommendation for your application in just a few clicks. 👉 https://lnkd.in/d4WAWmUR
