Navigation bar and book strucure
[edit source]I plan to add navigation bar throughout the book at the bottom of the pages.
From out of nowhere in the middle of the section Sample Programs the structure of the book changes to a deep structure, while the rest of the book has a flat structure. Does anyone have an opinion on flat or deep structure to the subpages of the book? I'd say a flat structure i.e. only one level of subpages would be sufficient in this book. In my opinion some pages have an awkward name too.
If no one objects the pages could be rearranged to a consistent structure (flat in my opinion, but anyone may disagree), and I could add the navigation bar to the rest of the chapters.

- An update to myself, and others listening. I've added the autonav template throughout the book, and moved the sample programs to subpages of Sample Programs. Thus the deep structure was kept. — Abuluntu (talk) 08:33, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
Ancient discussion
[edit source]I am adding the "source" tag in samples to comply with the Wikibooks / Wikimedia standard for code samples within a page. This Wikibook needs to be expanded, ideally adopting more of a complete manual format for readers. I would reorganize the document to adhere to the content approach of other computer language Wikibooks. --C. S. Wyatt (talk) 23:06, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
I would like to jump in here and help organize, create, and edit the content of this Wikibook so it more closely resembles a general text. I am also working on FutureBASIC documentation for OS X. If no one speaks up in a week or two, I'll assume it is okay to contribute. -- C. S. Wyatt
I'm going to expand this book, original creator wants or not. Yet, if someone considers any of the terms and names (especially the "Advanced Code List"), let me know about what you have in mind. F-3000 09:47, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
I knw im just an anon, ill get an account later. First, the title is wrong. AppleScript is written in w:CamelCase. Second, 3 examples won't teach anyone how to code. I can contribute! Maybe I should. but its 1 am where I live, so I'll get back to you. (Be aware my IP changes every few... seconds.) 66.82.9.89 06:32, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
