Le Chat (AI)
Le Chat is a generative artificial intelligence chatbot developed in France by Mistral AI and released in February 2024.[1] On 6 February 2025, Le Chat was released on iOS and Android mobile devices.[2][3] Its services are operated on a freemium model.[1]
In January 2025, Mistral AI made a content deal with Agence France-Presse (AFP) letting Le Chat query AFP's entire archive dating back to 1983.[4]
