Francois Kruta a partagé ceciOne year ago at VivaTech, I presented our AI roadmap. This year, we delivered it — and I want to be concrete about what that means. Ubudu has been building indoor real-time location systems since 2011. It's unglamorous, deeply technical work: turning noisy radio signals from BLE, UWB and GNSS into a position you can trust, reliably, at scale, in real factories and hospitals. Over the years that engine has run for demanding enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 operators. This year, AI let us move faster than ever — and apply it where it actually matters in our field. We call it Spatial AI. I know the term is becoming a buzzword; ours is concrete, in production since 2025, and built on the engineering we already had. ◆ It acts on the floor, not just sees it A located tag drives ESL displays, pick-to-light LEDs and electronic locks natively over BLE 5.4 PAwR — acknowledged and logged. Most RTLS platforms show you a dot on a map. We close the loop into the physical world. ◆ Four AI agents, live today Describe a monitoring rule in plain language and it's generated, tested and deployed — no code. Ask your floor a question and get an answer on an interactive map. Describe a dashboard and confirm it before it applies. Have a specialized agent write and test safe, real-time event scripts for you. ◆ A serious stack underneath Over 100,000 positions processed per second, 8 positioning technologies fused into one engine, and 44 governed AI tools over a secured, model-agnostic agent layer that runs on any LLM — in our cloud, or fully on-premise for data sovereignty. The model is swappable; the depth underneath is not. The honest version: the AI isn't the achievement. The achievement is more than a decade of hard RTLS engineering, finally made operable by AI. That's the part I'm proud of. And the direction I find most interesting comes next: AI that tunes the positioning engine itself. Accurate indoor location has always required scarce RF expertise — we're making that a conversation, lowering the barrier to deploying precise location at scale. For a niche deep-tech team — built largely by reinvesting our own revenue, backed by angels who believed early rather than a VC war chest — this has been a real stretch, and I'm grateful to everyone who made it happen. The irony isn't lost on me: investors long saw our hardware play as too hard and too capital-heavy. In the AI era, owning the full stack — from the radio on the tag to the agent operators talk to — is exactly what's hard to copy. That bet is our moat now. That’s exactly the approach we’re implementing at ubudu: we give users tunable autonomy, defining how much AI should do vs. what humans should verify. L'occasion de s'interroger sur l'intégration réelle de l'IA au sein des entreprises françaises ! A cet égard, l'étude du Lab Bpifrance publiée la semaine dernière sur l'IA au sein des PME et ETI françaises est riche d'enseignements. 📊 A retenir notamment un écart encore trop conséquent entre prise de conscience et action: • 58 % des PME-ETI voient l'IA comme une question de survie à 3-5 ans • Mais seulement 43 % ont posé les bases d'une stratégie IA • Et 1/3 des entreprises ont franchi le pas de l'adoption ! 🔄 Un usage centré pour le moment sur l'optimisation de l'existant et des quick-win via l'IA générative: • 49 % des utilisateurs se contentent de solutions gratuites ou prêtes à l'emploi • 94% visent l'amélioration des perf. opérationnelles, la réduction des coûts, etc. plutôt que l'augmentation du CA ou l'accès à de nouveaux marchés 🚧 Une adoption plus massive freinée par une maturité digitale encore trop faible 24 % des PME et ETI n’ont pas engagé leur transformation digitale. L’absence de socle digital et de données pertinentes et fiables compromet leur capacité à tirer parti de l'IA dans le futur. Ces chiffres - ainsi que les profils de dirigeants présentés dans l'étude - mettent bien en relief ce que l'on constate au quotidien dans l'accompagnement IA des PME et ETI françaises : on est effectivement dans une révolution (trop?) tranquille! Francois Kruta a aimé ceci🇪🇺 Une tech forte. Une Europe ouverte. Une souveraineté qui se construit par l’action. Quelle édition du #FDDay 2026 ! Une journée intense, faite de rencontres, de débats et de convictions partagées autour d’un même enjeu : faire de la tech et de l’innovation des moteurs de notre souveraineté et de notre compétitivité. Pour ma première participation en tant que membre du Conseil d’administration de France Digitale, et à l’approche d’échéances politiques majeures, j’ai eu l’occasion d’échanger en tête-à-tête avec plusieurs décideurs économiques et politiques: François Hollande, Roland Lescure, Paul Midy, Bruno Le Maire et Antoine Tesniere. Des discussions franches et précieuses sur l’avenir de notre économie, de notre système de santé et sur la place que nous voulons donner à l’innovation en Europe. La souveraineté était au cœur de cette édition. Un sujet qui me passionne et que j’ai eu le plaisir de débattre aux côtés de Pedro Ribeiro Santos (Armilar), Silvano Sansoni (ChapsVision) et Heba Sabra (Cenotian), lors d’une table ronde animée par Chris O'Brien. Chez HealthHero et Qare.fr, la souveraineté est très concrète : c’est notre capacité à continuer à soigner et à organiser les soins, quoi qu’il arrive, pour chaque patient qui en a besoin. Pour moi, elle se résume en trois mots : maîtrise, choix et réversibilité. - Maîtrise : protéger nos données de santé et en garder le contrôle. - Choix et réversibilité : pouvoir choisir les meilleures technologies et les meilleurs partenaires, européens ou non, tout en restant capables d’en changer si nécessaire. Car je suis profondément convaincue d’une chose : être souverain ne signifie pas se fermer au monde. Cela signifie rester libre de ses choix et en garder le contrôle. Et parce que je crois tout autant que la technologie et l’innovation n’ont de sens que lorsqu’elles servent l’humain, j’étais particulièrement heureuse de remettre notre prix "Coup de Qare" des Talent Awards à Omundu, pour son engagement en faveur de l’inclusion sociale et de l’impact. Je repars de cette journée avec beaucoup d’énergie et une conviction encore renforcée : l’Europe a les talents, les idées et l’ambition. À nous de lui donner les moyens de voir grand. 🇪🇺 À l’année prochaine, #FDDay !

They run across the United States and Canada. I've spent more than a decade in this industry, and I have never seen a deployment move this fast while staying this controlled. When you move this fast, it's easy to cut corners on quality, on cost, or on the guest in front of the screen. This team didn't. Every restaurant went live while it stayed open and served guests. Every rollout stayed under control, both technically and financially. And every brand kept full control of its menu, with the flexibility each location needs. That doesn't mean it was perfect. Scripts crashed. Players went down. Problems came up, as they always do in the real world. Each time, the team rolled up its sleeves, fixed what needed fixing and kept moving. That comes down to people. To Thibaud Denolle, who built the platform we always wished existed, and who has led this rollout from day one. To the deployment, product and engineering teams Tristan De Oliveira, Arnaud Schoenher, who made the difficult part look routine. To those who joined us along the way: Amanda S., Sam Myer, Brian Childers, Alexa Garcia, Lysa Cannappah, Camila Hernandez Matheus, Janelle Storm,... and to Gabor Nemes, MBA establishing our support center, so that our clients are covered around the clock, whatever the scale. It all began at the Group’s headquarters in Paris, then took me to Hong Kong, where I led P&C Claims across Asia. Back in France, I moved into Innovation — first building new products, then bringing data and AI into underwriting and claims. And finally, over the last three years at AXA XL, putting LLMs to work in commercial insurance. What I’ll remember most, though, isn’t the projects — it’s the people. Across Europe, Asia, Africa and the US, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside remarkable colleagues. Each brought a different way of seeing the world, and that diversity of perspectives has been, by far, the richest part of the journey. A special thank-you to the managers who placed their trust in me and opened doors along the way — Reginald Henry, Claude Seigne, Fanny Pouget, Yann Bry and Ashok Krishnan. You each backed me at a different turn, and I’m deeply grateful for it. And in memory of Jean Drouffe, who shaped my years in Hong Kong and is deeply missed. Now, on to the next chapter. One conviction I’m taking with me: insurance is a fantastic industry to build in — and I’m not done with it yet.

After an extraordinary 10-year journey, the time has come for me to close an important chapter and step down from Acrelec. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of serving the company in many roles, leading France, then the Global Business, moving to the United States, and ultimately serving as Group CEO in the continuity of the Founders. What I will remember most are the people. I am deeply grateful to the teams, colleagues, partners and customers who made this journey so meaningful. Together, we overcame challenges, led transformations from technology company to a true QSR operation partner, developed markets, brought innovations like the store “Autopilot” and built a stronger company. I leave with immense pride and confidence in Acrelec’s future.
