I've been learning to code since 2015, at first in ruby which was a great experience but was not the true love I wished to find.
Later, I found Java, as a child/teen I was playing Minecraft, felt limited by the game, and wanted to learn a bit of plugin/mod development, which was fun and my first real experience with OOP.
Then, comes Node.js/Typescript, my first true love, but not so much in the front end, I loved developing some simple backends for my games plugins and mods, automatisation of simple tasks, and everything.
In High School, I had a course on embedded programming using Arduinos which got me into learning C and that's when I knew it was what I liked, absolute control over anything possible, the need for optimisation was my whole life at this time. A few years later, in 2020 I discovered Rust, at first it seemed like a real pain to learn, I got yelled at by the compiler, not knowing why...
Then I started to read a lot about it, dove deep into the documentation to understand most of Rust's features, and realised how powerful it was. That's also the time when I started to learn and do some college research on parallelisation and assembly for matrix multiplication on ARMv7 SVE, Rust parallelisation features are, at least to me, the most plug-and-play ones out there.
