Run 36915158066 failed all 4 wheel-dependency matrix legs with "Connection reset by peer" fetching blas-3.11.0.tgz from netlib.org. wget's own unbounded retry (--tries defaults to unlimited) burned ~190s across 20 attempts on the same URL before giving up with no useful change in outcome. Wrap the call with the retry() helper already defined in this script (used by download_first for GMP/MPFR) and --tries=1 so each attempt fails fast and the bounded backoff takes over, matching the pattern already applied to the other known-flaky mirrors in this file. Seeing the 5 connection failure to netlib where TCP connects and succeeds and then immediate reset mid-request seems like a proxy/firewall issue. Let me ask IT. |
