I have worked 16 years in technical roles in manufacturing company. For 12 years I worked as technical support for production equipment. This included understanding internal functionality of devices using documentation, reading code and planning with customers. 4 years my role was software developer in digitalization team developing/supporting existing in house software and planning/visioning how software and tools are going to evolve in short and long term.
Past few months I have been working as frontend developer.
JavaScript/Vue3 site developement supporting desktop, mobile and PWA.
Developed and supported production data collection platform for large scale production supporting systems from past three decades. This was running in Windows environment, coded in .Net and used MSSQL.
Worked in small team building POC of modernizing and migrating in house system to Azure.
Desinged and implemented backup strategy for computers controlling manufacturing equipment. This took into account varying limitations computers in environments like these have such as OS, age, network connectivity etc.
Worked 12 years doing technical maintenance for production on technical support covering planning and scheduling all the way to component level fixes.
Been working with technical and non-technical stakeholders both internal and extrenal.
Small tools and apps for own and community to use using .Net, Python, Lua, Bat/Powershell, Bash. Also built Android app using Maui/Razor
Virtualization with Proxmox/Esxi/HyperV, networking, firewall, nat and routing with OpnSense, hosting for family and friends.
