Steiynbrodt/README.md

Hello 👋

My name is Steiynbrodt.

I am a technically interested student working on practical software projects with a focus on systems, automation and networking.

📚 Currently learning: computer networking and system internals
🎯 Goal: continuously improving my programming and problem-solving skills, and working on the repos i forked
🎲 Interests: high-fidelity flight simulation (DCS F-16 / F-14), hands-on experimentation with SDR hardware (HackRF with PortaPack), and building fictional simulation environments inspired by Ace Combat 3

💻 Technologies & Tools

🧩 Notable Projects

Some selected projects I have worked on:

Z.O.E. (Zone Of Enders) – early-stage UAV simulation project built with Godot, currently focused on physics, simulation environment setup and system foundations (private / work in progress)
Project NEMO – follow-up project to Z.O.E.; a private research and learning project planned to expand the simulation into a larger fictional environment inspired by Ace Combat 3, focusing on system architecture, AI decision-making and simulation logic

🧠 Experience & Learning

  • Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, switching, VLANs)
  • Low-level programming in C / C++
  • Python for tooling and automation
  • Basics of reverse engineering
  • Practical Linux experience with Kali Linux, Ubuntu and CachyOS
  • Dual-boot system setup (Kali Linux / CachyOS) using GRUB chainloading with full disk encryption (FDE)
  • Robotics experience: approx. one year each working with VEX V5 and VEX AI, focusing on control logic, autonomous behavior and system integration
