AI Model Compass v0.11.0

The README now shows the actual app, explains its memory estimates and gets you to a Windows download or source setup without guessing.

• A new compass icon replaces the placeholder identity. Every original logo study and prompt is preserved in the repository's concept folder.
• Model cards are easier to read. Recommendations and speed values are labeled as estimates, and the VRAM calculator shows its cache assumptions.
• Hugging Face search and downloads work with the pinned client version. Broken Granite and sharded Mistral catalog entries were corrected.
• Dependency installation is an explicit setup step. It no longer runs during application startup.

Download the Windows x64 ZIP, extract it and open AIModelCompass.exe. Model weights and runtimes are separate downloads. The executable is unsigned; Windows may show a reputation warning. Verify the archive against SHA256SUMS.txt. Don't disable security software.

All 13 local tests pass. The extracted Windows package reproduced all 13 reviewed page captures. An actual small GGUF download matched its publisher SHA256. The dependency check found no known advisories in the tested environment.

Ollama benchmarks, runtime integrations, other GPU vendors and non-Windows platforms were not verified in this delivery. The README lists the remaining limitations.

Source and licenses

Compass source remains MIT licensed. The combined Windows distribution includes GPLv3 PyQt6 and LGPLv3 Qt components. License copies are in the Windows ZIP. The source ZIP contains the matching application and build scripts; the dependency-sources ZIP contains hash-verified upstream sources and rebuild instructions.
