HostsGuard 0.12.157 pairs the current .NET 10 build with a clearer product story and a complete set of release assets.

What changed

  • Added a new shield and signal brand mark, with a Windows icon tuned for small sizes.
  • Reworked the README around the review-first workflow, direct downloads, and four real app views.
  • Fixed isolated screenshot capture so it can run without an installed HostsGuard service.
  • Updated supported dependencies and kept the vulnerability audit clean.

The local release checks passed with 1,926 tests. Both installers and portable archives include the app, CLI, service, and profile migrator.

HostsGuard is intentionally unsigned. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning on first run. Download from this repository and verify the file against SHA256SUMS.txt.
