My name is Bhavul and I enjoy driving innovation through research and engineering. I'm a Staff Research Engineer currently working for FAIR within the Meta Superintelligence Lab around ideas of LLM self-improvement and LLM agents for ML & Science research automation. In recent past, I was supporting fine-tuning Large Language Models and Latent Diffusion Models as well as Prompting science to build innovative new products for Ads. Before GenAI, I was building foundational models to understand users for improving Reels and Video recommendations. Prior to Meta, I worked as a Research Scientist at Zapr leading Applied NLP Research team and helped build multiple 0->1 producs around Recommendation System and Chatbot / Voicebot space.
I love to support and try to engage in independent AI research too. I was a core researcher with Manifold RG in 2023-2024 which is an open source distributed research group.
