Send it. See it once. Gone forever.
Light Speed is a cross-platform, open-source, peer-to-peer social app for text and media — a hybrid of X, Signal, and Snapchat. Messages are end-to-end encrypted on the sender device, travel encrypted directly between peers, and are deleted after a single view. There is no moderation layer by design: the network relays ciphertext it cannot read, so there is nothing to moderate and no platform account to ban.
This repository is a monorepo for the Light Speed project:

Because the product is peer-to-peer, the only server-side responsibility is the
waitlist. There is no message store, no user database, no content to
moderate. The backend stores email signups and sends confirmation/welcome
emails — nothing else. The full server-side footprint is in backend/.
