ScentInsider — Semantic Fragrance Search Engine
Search 30,000+ perfumes by vibe, not keywords. Built a scraping pipeline (25 concurrent workers + proxy rotation) to harvest ~60k records, then indexed them with 1024-dim Voyage AI embeddings in Qdrant for sub-millisecond similarity search. FastAPI backend with complex payload filtering; React 19 frontend with fuzzy autocomplete and scent profile visualizations.

Upload a photo of your bag — AWS Rekognition identifies what's inside. Chat with an AI that holds short-term memory to refine your list. Dual-model fallback (Llama 3 → Claude 4.5 Haiku) for cost efficiency. JWT auth, OTP email verification, per-user S3 folders. React/Vite + Node/Express, deployed on Render.
