CTO at Integrated Genome Factory | Assistant Professor at Universitas Gadjah Mada
I work where genomics meets software engineering: building sequencing and bioinformatics infrastructure in industry, and teaching bioinformatics, biotechnology, and computational biology at the Faculty of Biology, UGM.
- π At IGF: I lead the technology behind our genome sequencing services, including data pipelines, compute infrastructure, and turning raw reads into results clients can use.
- π At UGM: I teach bioinformatics, biotechnology, and systems biology, and I supervise students working on genomics and bioinformatics.
- π¬ Research interests: microbial genomics, biosynthetic gene clusters, pangenomics, and reproducible workflows.
- π¬ Ask me about BGCFlow, a systematic workflow for analysing biosynthetic gene clusters across large genome collections (pangenomes).
- π± Currently exploring agentic retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and knowledge graphs to aid genome mining.
