PasswordStrength is a jQuery plugin to measure the strength of a password typed by the user.

By default it will show the percentage of the password strength and the time that it takes to be cracked by brute-force attack, the time is calculated taking into account the fastest brute-force designed machine until December 2012 Brute Force 348 bllion hashes per second.

For transparency and insight into our release cycle, and for striving to maintain backward compatibility, PasswordStrength will be maintained under the Semantic Versioning guidelines as much as possible.

Releases will be numbered with the follow format:

<major>.<minor>.<patch>

And constructed with the following guidelines:

• Breaking backward compatibility bumps the major
• New additions without breaking backward compatibility bumps the minor
• Bug fixes and misc changes bump the patch
