Biochemistry graduate from UBC, now pursuing an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology co-supervised by the Jan and Foster laboratories, exploring proteomics approaches for mRNA therapeutics. My background spans computational and wet lab biology β from phylogenetic analysis, HMM profiling, and sequence similarity networks on antibiotic resistance enzyme families at Tokuriki Lab, to hands-on work in antibiotic susceptibility testing and molecular biology techniques. Currently Dry Lab Lead at UBC iGEM, leading bioinformatics efforts and contributing to wet lab work on an antibiotic susceptibility test kit.
