What variant of Codex are you using?
Codex App
What feature would you like to see?
When multiple tabs are open, switching between them currently requires clicking each individual tab. It would be much more convenient if users could drag or swipe horizontally on the top tab bar to switch between tabs, similar to the experience in Visual Studio Code.
Proposed behavior
Allow users to drag horizontally on the tab bar to navigate between tabs.
Support both mouse dragging and touchpad horizontal swipe gestures.
Preserve the existing click-to-select behavior.
Make the transition smooth and responsive.
Why this would be useful
Developers often work with multiple Codex sessions at the same time. Constantly moving the cursor to click different tabs interrupts the workflow.
VS Code provides a very intuitive tab navigation experience that many developers are already familiar with. Bringing a similar interaction to the Codex App would make switching between conversations much faster and improve the overall user experience.
