Strange unknown email sender nick on private repository change notificationsQuestion BodyDoes anybody know why email repository change notifications suddenly come from a nick that it's not the user's nick (i.e. "someonenick <noreply@github.com>" while it used to be "myownnick <noreply@github.com>"), but since a few weeks not anymore? I have double checked permissions, addresses. No clue... |

This could be related to a recent change in repository permissions or collaborator roles, especially if someone with higher privileges made changes to the repository. It's also possible that GitHub adjusted how notifications are routed due to system updates or settings changes. I’d recommend double-checking the collaborator settings and reviewing any recent changes to the repository or the GitHub account profile. If the issue persists, it might be worth reaching out to GitHub support for further assistance. |
