Select Topic AreaQuestion Bodygithub copilot version 0.35.3 somehow i am not able to choose ollama models anymore which is annoying. It was working last year in November. Now if i click Manage Models --> Add Models --> ollama the model list is just refreshing and i dont see any local ollama models to choose from. |

GitHub Copilot no longer supports local Ollama models. In November, it worked because the integration was experimental. In Copilot versions 0.34–0.35, it was disabled: the Ollama item remained in the interface, but the list of models no longer loads, so when clicked, it simply updates and does not show anything. This is not an Ubuntu problem, not an Ollama bug, and not your mistake. |

The only options are to roll back to the old version of Copilot or use Ollama through other tools (for example, Continue.dev).
