That’s a classic issue with the trial activation. Even if the PayPal renewal is set up, the license doesn't always "click" instantly. Check these things: Billing Page: Go to your GitHub settings under Billing and plans and check the Copilot section. If it says "Trial" or "Active," the billing is fine, and it's just a sync issue. Sign out/Sign in: Log out of GitHub and then back in. Do the same in VS Code or your IDE, as the token often needs a refresh to realize you have Pro now. PayPal Authorization: Sometimes PayPal shows the "automatic renewal" as a pre-authorization, but GitHub hasn't "claimed" the trial yet. Make sure you finished the final step on the GitHub side after the PayPal pop-up. If it's still not working after a relog, you might need to ping GitHub Support since it's a billing sync error on their end. |
