More than 10 years teaching humans to speak English and Portuguese. Now I teach machines to speak code.
At Getnet Technology, I transitioned from Salesforce development to Infrastructure and DevOps following a systems unification - now my daily grind involves environment orchestration, bug hunting, and convincing devs to update their dependencies.
Off the clock, I built a Pokémon Go Pokédex with SQL + Python and an expense tracker (HTML, JS, Python) - because money disappears faster than my motivation to write unit tests.
Backstory:
Degrees in International Relations + English Teaching,
Postgrad in Technology and Language Acquisition through games - serious games.
Survived a Full-Stack Web & Python Bootcamp and discovered that if you can explain the past perfect tense, you can debug a React component.
If you’re into career pivots, DevOps, or the weird overlap between linguistics and logic, let’s talk. Or argue about syntax and identation.
Explaining REST APIs is like teaching the present perfect, same chaos just with HTTP codes. ‘200/301/410’ is basically ‘go/went/gone’.
I mainly develop projects with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next, Node and Python.
