At yesterday's TC39 plenary (14th April 2025) consensus was achieved to withdraw the Records and Tuples proposal. The proposal was at stage 2 and unable to gain further consensus for adding new primitives to the language.

There is a new proposal that is likely to be of interest to anyone that has been looking at the Records and Tuple proposal. It has some similarities, but is looking only at new objects and not new primitives. In particular I suspect this issue to be of particular interest about the relation with Records and Tuples: tc39/proposal-composites#15.

As per TC39 process this repository will now be archived.
