Hi, I'm Nate. I've been making websites since I was a kid.
I'm on the Platform team at Optibus, working on the infrastructure and integrations behind software for planning and operating public transit. My coworkers are spread across four continents, so I work primarily async.
Before Optibus, I led engineering at Scripto, where I took a real-time collaborative screenwriting platform from prototype to production for The Daily Show, The Late Show, and other major TV shows.
Building for the web professionally since 2009: freelance, agencies, enterprise R&D, and startups. Open source runs through all of it, and at least one job came directly from it. Mostly I'm a solo dev who's made a lot of small things over the years. A few of them are downloaded millions of times a year.
